COACHING PHILOSOPHY: My coaching philosophy has been developed through years of observation and participation as an athlete at the elite youth level, semi-professional and minor league professional levels. I have been blessed to be able to play for some amazing coaches who shaped my outlook on how to teach and to motivate and
I have also had the opportunity to play for some coaches who were not as adept as others. I have never forgotten the best and worst of those coaches and when I ventured into coaching over twenty five years ago, I always had it in the back of my mind that I would strive to be the coach I always wanted to play for.

Smart, fun, innovative and motivated to succeed are words that people have used to describe my coaching style. I will challenge our athletes to dig deeper, go harder and faster than they ever thought they could. I want them to be exceptional in all that they do and I teach them to take pride in what they do because if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well. In other words, I have become the coach I always wanted to play for.

My philosophy is rather simple: I WILL inspire my athletes through demonstrated action, communication and a sincere interest in their development as athletes and human beings. My ultimate goal is to develop athletes who will succeed not only on the court but in life as well.
